Jesus and Krishna don’t they look nice together? An artists fantasy maybe? After all they are quite different are they not? An examination of the facts will show that both Jesus and Krishna were:
- Called both a God and the Son of God.
- Both were sent from heaven to earth in the form of a man
- Both were called Savior, and the second person of the Trinity
- A spirit or ghost was their actual father.
- Both referred to themselves having existed before their birth on earth.
- Both were “without sin”.
- Both were god-men: being considered both human and divine.
- Both descended into Hell, and were resurrected
- Both cast out indwelling demons, and raised the dead.
- Both considered omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent
Krishna was thought to have been born 3228 BCE whereas Jesus was born in approx 4 to 7 BCE. Other gods pre-dating Jesus such as Buddha (531 BCE), Horus/ Osiris of Egypt (2400 BCE) and Zoroaster/ Zarathustra (600 BCE) share similar stories as Jesus.
Christians have hijacked most of the major pagan festivals Easter (from Eostre, the Anglo-Saxon Goddess of spring and dawn) and Christmas (borrowed from Mithraism on the 25th December). And why not since they fit so nicely!! The above information is enlightening when compared to the activities of Christian Missionaries who try to convert Jewish People to their ‘Jewish Messiah’ and the uniqueness (?) of their message. Jesus is really another version of the same gods who have been around a lot longer. Even attempts to make Jesus more Jewish by disguising the ‘Pagan ness’ of Christianity does not alter the facts. The warning to Jews about these gods is clear:
7 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, that is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying: ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; 8 of the gods of the peoples that are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 9 thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him; Deut 13:7-9
Our fathers believed:
- G-d is not a man:
God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: when He hath said, will He not do it? or when He hath spoken, will He not make it good? Num 23:19
- G-d is not physical:
15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves–for ye saw no manner of form on the day that the LORD spoke unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire 16 lest ye deal corruptly, and make you a graven image, even the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female.
- G-d is One not Three
